Many years ago I designed this flour sack doll and named it after my mother in law. Maw-maw "the Biscuit maker" was my gift to her on Mothers Day almost 20 years ago. We continued making these flour sack babies for almost six years. Selling them through Country Sampler Magazine and chain stores she was very popular and a nice tribute to a sweet lady. You can create your own family heirloom with a little talent, a little sewing ability and a memory of someone really special. Nana Ruth was our next limited edition made from antique pillow cases. The memories of Nana Ruth teaching me to sew will be with me forever. Make a nice doll, make a nice flower arrangement, make a nice planter using bulbs from your garden. Making a gift for that special someone will mean so much to both of you as the years go by. My favorite gift ever is the cookbook my sister made me. Love it!
