Alaska “Steak” and Gravy with BISCUITS

Alaska “Steak” and Gravy with BISCUITS1 Lb. Ground Moose
2 lb Ground Chuck
1 pack Lipton ONION and beef soup mix

Combine all ingredients and make into patties

FRY until done. Save dripping and make GRAVY using 3 tbsp. flour , salt and pepper.
Brown flour mixture and ad ½ hot water and MAYFIELD milk….approx. 8 cups. Cook slowly until mixture begins to thicken. Ad meat patties to gravy and continue cooking slowly until meat and gravy “marry”…….YUM. About 45 minutes or so.


BISCUITS

Large BOWL

3 cups Self Rising Flour
Large HANDFUL of CRISCO or LARD

MAYFIELD buttermilk

Make WELL in bowl of flour. Mix CRISCO and ad MAYFIELD milk….until the texture is RIGHT…….HMMMHMMM….how do you know its right…PRACTICE!!!

Do not over work the dough. I roll or cut biscuits depending on my MOOD….How funny. Bake at 400 for about 12 minutes. Smother with GRAVY and ALASKA “STEAK”

Serve MANY for PENNIES.
